Applications are now open for The Young Farmer Development Award.
The Young Farmer Development Award, supported by Cheshire Young Farmers, gives those involved recognition for skills experience and knowledge which will allow you to grow and develop your future career in agriculture.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an informal interview by independent judges discussing any highlights of your agricultural endeavours so far, alongside why you feel you should win the £500.
This year, the award will also include a runners up prize of £250 together with a third place prize of £150.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to earn a bit of cash towards your development and improve your profile as you will be invited to be presented with the trophy at this year’s Royal Cheshire County Show. Since 2016, many young farmers careers have benefited from this financial award.
Entrants need to be;
- Over 18
- Working in Agriculture or related industries
