Today we headed to Hartford High School for this year’s ready steady cook competition. Where we saw all 11 clubs compete for a place in the top three. This year they had the challenge of making chicken stroganoff with rice for the main and for pudding they had to make jam roly-poly with real home-made custard !
It’s safe to say everyone did an amazing job even with a few technical difficulties with not all the ovens working. All competitors showed a real team effort with having to share ovens with other teams!
Thank you to Lowes Farm Shop for donating the mushrooms and onions – it was very much appreciated!
